Aksaray ili merkezine yaklaşık 35 km mesafede yer alan Yenipınar köyünde bulunan Hacı Gayb Türbesi, plan şeması, biçimi, tasarımı ve mimari öğeleri ile günümüze kadar ulaşabilmiş, II. grup yapı olarak tescil edilmiş bir vakıf kültür varlığıdır. Yapının vakfına, vakıf gelirlerine ve mevcut durumuna dair genel bilgiler veren çalışmalar mevcut olmakla birlikte, mimari anlamda yapıyı konu alan monografik bir araştırma bulunmamaktadır. Türbe, yerinde tespit ve literatür araştırması ile mimari ve tarihçesi bakımından incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, Hacı Gayb Türbesi kendinden gelen izler, yerinde yapılan tespitler, esere ait belge ve bilgi kaynaklarından elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, günümüze kadar ulaşmış Aksaray ve çevre illerdeki türbeler, zaviye/tekke yapıları ile ilişkili olarak analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, dönem belirleme/karşılaştırma çalışmalarında kaynak oluşturması için yapı hakkında detaylı bilgi verilmeye çalışılmış, Aksaray dinî mimarisindeki yeri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu araştırma ile müdahale görmüş olmasına rağmen Hacı Gayb Türbesi’nin mimari özellikleri, planı, tasarımı, yapım tekniği ve malzemesi ile büyük oranda özgünlüğünü koruduğu, Karamanoğulları dönemi dinî mimarisini yansıttığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
