Abstract:

The New Social Movements represent the actions of sections who want to participate in the public sphere with their differences against the dominant cultures. Sections such as the Environment Movement (Green Movement), the Global Peace Movement, the Anti-Nuclear Movement, the Women Movement and the LGBT Movement are some of the New Social Movements. The aim of this study is to evaluate the relations between the New Social Movements and the central right-wing politics which has a major place in Turkish politics. In the study, first and foremost, the basic qualities of the New Social Movements and Central Right Political Movements were tried to be revealed by the literary work. Later, the relationship between the various events and right-wing powers that emerged in Turkey since the nineteenth years and can be assessed within the framework of the New Social Movements has been assessed. The assessments of the representatives of the authority on various concrete events during the period of appearance have been reached through the internet sources. The outcome resulted in the reaction of the central right to the New Social Movements with a conservative character. It is also understood that the central right and conservative qualified powers assess the New Social Movements not in general, but categorically.
