19. yüzyıldan itibaren halk ozanlarının devlet ideolojisini desteklemesinin ve yaygınlaştırmasının önemi fark edilmiştir. II. Mahmut dönemi ve sonrasında Tavuk Pazarı bölgesinde âşıkların yetiştiği kahvehanelerin iktidar kontrolünde olduğu bilinir. Cumhuriyet dönemine gelindiğinde de âşıkların ideolojik desteğini alma geleneğinin izleri sürmektedir. Âşık Veysel’in oldukça üretken olduğu yıllarda Köy Enstitüleri ile kurduğu yakın ilişki şiirine yansımış ve şiirinin bilimsel gelişmelere, güncel ideolojik söylemlere ve yeni yurttaş modeline açılmasını sağlamıştır. Bu bağlamda Aşık Veysel’i birçok şiirinde yurttaşa seslenirken görürüz. Bu çalışmada Âşık Veysel şiirinde yer alan öğreti, eleştiri ve tüm bunların sonucu olan umut ve endişelerin dönem olayları ve politikalarıyla ne derece uyuştuğu araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, Âşık Veysel’in şiir metinleri ile dönem politikalarının karşılaştırılmasına dayanmaktadır. Bu karşılaştırma için dönem siyasetini konu alan bilimsel çalışmalar, söz konusu dönemin gazete ilanları ve siyasilerin basın açıklamaları gibi tarihi verilerden yararlanılmıştır. Yapılan karşılaştırmalı inceleme sonucunda yurttaşa yönelik çalışkanlık öğretisi, çiftçiliğe ve sanayiye teşvik, Avrupa’da yaşanan bilimsel gelişmenin takip edilmesi ve feyz alınması, eğitim oranının yükseltilmesi, tasarruf öğretisi gibi yönlendirmelerin dönem politikalarından izler taşıdığı görülmüştür. Âşık Veysel, yurttaşı devlet için sürekli hareket halinde olmaya ve devlet için tasarrufa heyecanla ve umutla çağırmıştır. Çalışmanın en büyük kazanımı sanatçıyı yaşadığı dönem içinde tanımaya çalışarak vatanı için çabalayan, heyecanlanan, halkı için endişelenen “Vatandaş Âşık Veysel” portresine yaklaşmış olmaktır. Bu çalışmada Âşık Veysel şiiri Türkiye için oldukça zorlu geçen bir dönemi sanat dahilinde halkın gözüyle görmek için bir fırsat oluşturmuştur.
Since the 19th century, the importance of folk poets supporting and spreading the state ideology has been realized. It is known that the coffeehouses where the minstrels grew up in the Tavuk Pazarı region during and after the II. Mahmut period were under the control of the government. When it comes to the Republican period, the traces of the tradition of getting the ideological support of the minstrels continue. The close relationship that Âşık Veysel established with the Village Institutes in his highly productive years was reflected in his poetry and enabled his poetry to open up to scientific developments, current ideological discourses and a new citizen model. In this context, we see Aşık Veysel addressing the citizens in many of his poems. In this study, it has been investigated to what extent the doctrine, criticism, and the hopes and worries that are the result of all these in Âşık Veysel’s poem are compatible with the events and policies of the period. The research is based on the comparison of Âşık Veysel’s poetry texts with the politics of the period. şırı is comparison, historical data such as scientific studies on the politics of the period, newspaper advertisements of the mentioned period and press statements of politicians were used. As a result of the comparative analysis, it has been seen that orientations such as the teaching of industriousness towards the citizen, encouragement to farming and industry, following and receiving the scientific development in Europe, increasing the education rate, and the teaching of savings have traces of the policies of the period.
