Bu çalışmada uzaktan eğitimde karşılaşılan sorunların önem düzeyini ikili karşılaştırma yöntemiyle ölçeklemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda uzaktan eğitimde karşılaşılan sorunlar katılımcıların Covid 19 pandemisi öncesinde uzaktan eğitim deneyimi olup olmama durumuna göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma tarama modeli ile desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen 105 öğretim elemanı, 156 öğretmen ve 203 üniversite öğrencisi olmak üzere 464 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Ölçme aracı iki kısımdan oluşmakta olup birinci kısımda demografik bilgiler, ikinci kısımda ise uzaktan eğitimde karşılaşılan sekiz sorun (teknoloji kullanımında yetersiz olma, öğrencinin derse katılımı ve iletişimde eksiklik, derse hazırlık süreci, uzaktan eğitimde deneyim eksikliği, ölçme ve değerlendirme ile ilgili sorunlar, etkili ders anlatma yöntemleri kullanamama, teknik sorunlar/ internet alt yapısının yetersizliği ve yönetim tarafından denetleniyor olma hissi) bulunmaktadır. Ölçekleme Thurstone’un karşılaştırmalı yargılar kanununun III. Hal denklemi kullanılarak tam veri matrisinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda uzaktan eğitimde yaşanan en önemli sorunun “öğrencinin derse katılımı ve iletişimde eksiklik” olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, it is aimed to scale the importance level of the problems encountered in distance education with the pairwise comparison method. In this context, the problems encountered in distance education were examined according to whether the participants had experience in distance education before the Covid 19 pandemic. The research was designed with descriptive scanning model. The sample of the study consists of 464 individuals, 105 academicians, 156 teachers and 203 university students, determined according to the convenient sampling method. The measurement tool consists of two parts, the first part includes demographic information, and the second part includes eight problems encountered in distance education. Scaling was performed from the full data matrix by using Case III model of Thurstone's law of comparative judgments. As a result of the study, it is seen that the most important problem experienced in distance education is “lack of student participation in the lesson and communication”.
