Abstract This text refers to an experience report whose objective is to describe the use of the of a body practive, the Orientation, as a pedagogical proposal within Physical Education classes. The corporal practices of adventure are a kind of content developed a few years ago by Physical Education teachers, resulting in the recent inclusion of this content in the school curriculum. To fulfill this work, the methodology chosen uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze a sequence of six classes of fifth grade students from an elementary school. It was found that, additionally to the appropriation of such specific knowledge generated by the students’ practice, it was also possible to explore the Orientation and its various potentials in the physical education classes at schools, configuring itself as a pedagogical tool that can and should be used by Physical Education teachers.
