So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

In this research the prediction internet addiction obtained by peer pressure and perceived social support is examined. This study is executed in 2006- 2007 academic year on 479 high school students who are between ages 15- 17. The data were collected with "Internet Addiction Scale", "Peer Pressure Scale" and "Perceived Social Support Scale". Data are tested by regression analysis. The results of research shows the facts that internet addiction is predicted meaningfully in positive direction by one of variables "peer pressure" and in negative direction by the other variables "perceived family support" and "perceived teacher support". Multiple regression analysis, it is found that three variables altogether explain %33 of internet addiction. Also it is found in stepwise regression analysis that internet addiction is predicted meaningfully by their three variables. Keywords:
