Abstract:

Aim: This study was performed to assess the diagnostic value of Anticyclic citrullinated peptid (anti-CCP) and Rheumatoid factor (RF) IgG – IgA – IgM for in patients with RA and Psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Material ve Method: In this study, 69 patients with RA (mean age, 48,94 ± 10,52 years) and 41 patients with PsA (mean age; 46,76 ± 11,15 years) were included. We measured anti-CCP, RF IgG, IgA, IgM antibodies for each groups. Findings: In patients with RA, the anti-CCP positivity and the RF IgG, IgA and IgM positivities (56.5%, 12%, 49%, 65%, respectively) were significantly more frequent than in patients with PsA (12%, 5%, 12%, 22%, respectively) (p=0.000). When it was done a subanalysis between RF IgM positive and RF IgM negative patients with RA and PsA; it was found that frequencies of anti-CCP and RF IgA positivity were more common in RA groups among RF IgM positive patients. Conclusion: From the findings of this study we can conclude that the presence of anti-CCP and RF IgM with RF IgA could be useful to make differential diagnosis between RA and PSsA.
