Özet:

Goal: Brussels is a common bacterial zoonosis in the world and can also be seen frequently in our country. The main cultural and serological methods are used in the diagnosis of the disease developing in humans. We wanted to see a serosurveyant in our hospital. Method: Suspicious samples of brusellosis sent to the microbiology laboratory of our hospital between July 2014-July 2019 were evaluated by Rose Bengal and the test and the samples observed aglutination in the Rose Bengal test were considered positive. In the Brucella Coombs gel test, the seums of patients were first made in backs allocated to patients and the tires (1/40-1/5120) 1/160 and above were considered positive. Results: In the study included 13796 suspicious patients with brusellosis, the Rose Bengal test found 1040 (7.5%) patients positive. The number of patients with Brucella Coombs gel test positive is 468 (3.4 percent). The Rose Bengal test was positive, and the Brucella Coombs gel test was negative, and the Rose Bengal test was negative, and the Brucella Coombs gel test was positive, and the Brucella Coombs gel test was positive. The result: With the use of the Rose Bengal and Brucella Coombs gel test, we studied the brusella serosurveyans in our hospital in the last 5 years. We have shown that the results we have obtained with the Brucella Coombs gel test, which has become widespread in recent years, are in line with the standard tube aglutination test used in many laboratories, in the presence of blocking antibodies, the results can be more reliable and can be used in many centers in the future.
