Abstract:

Bilginin kayıt altına alınması,korunması, organizasyonu, bilgiye erişimin geliştirilmesi ve bilginin genişhalk kitlelerine yayılarak kütüphanelerin kurulmasına zemin hazırlaması gibi bilgibilimlerinin temel dinamikleri konusunda taşıdığı önem ve tarihi misyonmatbaanın icadı hakkında pek çok araştırma yapılmasını sağlamıştır. OsmanlıDevleti gibi geniş bir coğrafyada uzun yıllar hüküm süren bir devletin,müteharrik basım tekniğinin geliştirilmesinden yaklaşık üç asır sonra ilkMüslüman Türk matbaasının kuruluşuna izin vermiş olması pek çok tartışmayıberaberinde getirmiştir. Bu makalede; Süleymaniye Yazma Eserler Kütüphanesi’ndeEsad Efendi koleksiyonunda 3595 demirbaş numarası ile kayıtlı olan Risâle-i Fevâid-i Basma adlı bir yazmaeser üzerinden Osmanlı Devleti’nde matbaanın kurulması konusu ele alınmıştır.On varaktan oluşan bu eserde matbaanın önemi, faydaları ve gerekliliğikonusunda bilgiler yer almaktadır. Bu bakımdan eserin incelenmesinin, OsmanlıDevleti’nde matbaanın kuruluşu konusunda yeni bilgiler ortaya çıkaracağı veyeni bakış açılarının geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayacağı hipotezi benimsenerekeser, araştırma konusu olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada, içerik analizi yöntemi vetarihi kaynak analizi tekniği kullanılmış ve araştırmacıların daha kolay birşekilde yararlanabilmesi için eserin Latin harflerine transkripsiyonuyapılmıştır.Anahtar Sözcükler: Osmanlı İmparatorluğu,matbaa, yazma eserler, Risâle-i fevâid-i basma.AbstractThe invention of the printing press, the recording, protection,organization of information, the development of access to information and thespread of knowledge to the masses of people and the foundation of librarieshave led to important developments in the field of information science. Alsothe importance of printing press on the fundamental dynamics of informationscience and its historical mission have led to a lot of research about it. Thefact that a state ruling for a long time in a vast geography like the OttomanEmpire allowed the establishment of the first Muslim Turkish printing housealmost 300 years after the development of the printing press technique broughtalong many debates. In this article, the issue of establishment of a printingpress in the Ottoman Empire is examined. In Esad Efendi Collection ofSuleymaniye Manuscripts Library, a manuscript called Risâle-i Fevâid-i Basma registered was dealt with. This workconsists of 10 pages and contains information on the importance, benefits andnecessity of the printing press. In this respect, the hypothesis that theexamination of the work will reveal new information about the establishment ofthe printing house in the Ottoman Empire and contribute to the development ofnew perspectives has been chosen as the research subject. The work has beenexamined by using content analysis method and historical source analysistechnique.
