Bu çalışmada, Teknik Eğitim Fakültelerinin (TEF) son yıllarda karşı karşıya bulunduğu sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri tartışılmıştır. Bunun için, TEF\'in tarihi gelişim süreci incelenerek amaç, program, ve organizasyon bakımından mevcut durum ortaya konulmuştur. Son yıllarda, TEF sayısının artışı ile daha da belirgin hale gelen mezunların istihdam edilememesi sorununun, hangi nedenlerden kaynaklandığı irdelenmiş ve sorunun çözümü için yeniden yapılanmanın gerekliliği ortaya konulmuştur. Yeniden yapılanma çerçevesinde, başta fakültenin ismi ve mezunlarına verilen unvan olmak üzere, amaç, programlar, kuruluş yerleri, pedagojik formasyon dersleri ile uluslararası denklik konularında mevcut sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri üzerinde durulmuştur. The causes of the unemployment problems of the graduates, due to the increasing number of the TEFs, have been scrutinized and as a solution to this problem, a necessity of reorganisation in the TEFs has been revealed. In this frame of reorganisation, the problems and the solutions have been taken into consideration, starting with the name of the faculty and the title given to its graduates, goals, curricula, foundation places, the pedagogical formation lessons and their international accreditation.
