Bu çalışma Karaman Arkeoloji Müzesi sikke envanterinde yer alan MÖ 361-334 yıllarına ait Laranda obollerini konu edinmektedir. Konu kapsamında müze koleksiyonunda tipolojik olarak 4 farklı sikke tespit edilmiştir. Sikkelerin ön yüzlerinde genellikle Baal ve Herakles arka yüzlerinde ise Kurt protomu gibi çeşitli mitolojik tasvirler betimlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, sikkeler kronolojik ve ikonografik olarak incelenmesi, tarihsel süreç içerisinde bölgenin inanç sisteminin oluşmasında yerel, çevre kültür bölgeleri ve diğer yabancı yönetimlerin etkisinin tespiti ve buradan yola çıkarak, Antik Çağ Laranda Bölgesi inanç sisteminin kökenlerinin ve yapısının ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır.
This study focuses on the Laranda oboles of 361-334 BC located in the archetype of the Karaman Archaeological Museum. In the museum’s collection, four different cakes were typologically identified. The front faces of the cycles are often depicted in the back faces of Baal and Heracles, while the various mythological images, such as the Kurt protome, are depicted. In this context, the cycles are studied chronologically and iconographically, in the historic process the influence of the local, environmental and cultural regions and other foreign governments on the formation of the region's system of beliefs is identified, and from here, the purpose is to reveal the origins and structure of the ancient Laranda region's system of beliefs.
This study discusses on Laranda obols belong to 361-334 BC in coin inventory in Karaman Archeology Museum. Within the scope of our subject, 4 different coins were typologically determined in the museum collection. Mythological depictions such as Baal and Herakles can be observed on the front faces of the coins; wolf protom was portrayed on the back faces of related depictions. In this regard, it is aimed to determine the effect of local, cultural zones around and other foreign managements in constituting the belief system of the region within historical process and also reveal the roots and structure of belief system of Ancient Time Laranda Region. Reviewing the coins chronologically and iconographically is the other goal of the study.
