Yeme içme insanların temel ihtiyaçları arasında yer almakta ve insanların hayatları boyunca yeme içme eğilimleri çeşitli nedenler ile farklılaşabilmektedir. İnsanların yeme eğilimlerini sosyal çevre, kültür ve kişilik ile ilgili faktörler etkileyebilmektedir. İnsanların davranışlarını etkileyen bir başka etken de insanların bağlanma türleridir. Hayatın ilk yıllarında şekillenen bağlanma türü ileriki yıllarda da devam etmekte ve davranışları etkileyebilmektedir. Bu araştırma İstanbul’daki restoranlarda yemek yeme deneyimi yaşayan 456 tüketici üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada nicel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Veriler anket yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Anket formunda, demografik soruların yanı sıra yiyecek neofobisi, yiyecek neofilisi ve üçlü bağlanma stilleri ölçekleri yer almaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda güvenli bağlanan tüketicilerin yiyecek neofilisi eğiliminin daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca eğitim durumu yüksek olan tüketicilerin yiyecek neofilisi eğiliminin yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Eating is one of the basic needs of people, and people’s eating and drinking tendencies throughout their lives can differ for a variety of reasons. People’s eating trends can be influenced by factors related to social environment, culture and personality. Another factor that affects people’s behavior is the kind of connectivity of people. The kind of bond formed in the first years of life continues in the next years and can affect behavior. This study was conducted on 456 consumers who experience eating in restaurants in Istanbul. The research has been used in the research process. The data is obtained by the method of survey. The survey form includes demographic questions as well as the scales of food neophobia, food neophilia and triple bonding styles. The study found that safe-linked consumers were more likely to be neophyllic in food. It has also been concluded that consumers with a high educational status have a high tendency to food neophilia.
Eating and drinking behaviors are among the basic needs of people, and people's eating and drinking tendencies can differ for various reasons throughout their lives. The type of attachment that is shaped in the first years of life continues in the following years and can affect behaviors. This research was conducted on 456 consumers who had dining experience in restaurants in Istanbul. Quantitative research design was used in the study. The data were gathered by the survey method. In addition to demographic questions, the questionnaire includes food neophobia, food neophilia and triple attachment styles and scales. As a result of the research, it was seen that securely attached consumers have a higher tendency to food neophilia. In addition, it has been concluded that consumers with high educational status have a high tendency to food neophilia.
