Abstract:

The research aims to explore the fact of food consumption that has become a popular topic in tourism in recent years using the method of document examination in the framework of visual analysis. The Web of Science data base is a sample of a total of 265 research studies achieved by searching together the words "Tourism" and "Food Consumption". The data has been analyzed through the Citespace II bibliometric analysis program in four main titles, including publication information, word analysis, reference information and country business associations. The research has identified the year-by-year distribution of publications, the publications and research fields with the most work on this topic, the prominent keywords in tourism and food consumption, the year-by-year reference distribution, the classification of the studies according to the number of references, the most reference fields and the most centralized studies, the authors and the countries that make the most contribution to the area concerned. Research results are believed to have a comprehensive framework for those interested in tourism and food consumption in the context of the general trends of the research field.
