Deneklerin lateral servikal grafileri notral, fleksiyon ve ekstansiyon pozisyonlannda e/de edildi, Direkt rontgen cekimlerinde General Elektrik marka rontgen makinesi kuJlamldl, Istatistiksel analiz icin Windows ortammda SPSS programl kullamldJ. Gruplarm ya~, spor ya~lan ve omurga yapllanndaki dejeneratif degi$ikler Ki-kare testi i/e degerlendirildi p<0,05 anlamll kabul edildi. Gure~riler ve sedanterler arasmda aks duzle~mesi, (% 46.0 ve % 2.0), intervertebral mesafe (% 16,0 ve % 2.0), dejenerasyon (%22.0 ve %2.0), vertebra yuksekligi (%10.0 ve %0.0) ka~lla~tlTJlmasl sonucunda gure$ciler aleyhine anlamll fark bulundu (p<0.01). Spinal mesafe olu~umu konusunda iki grup arasmda istatistiksel olarak anlamll bir farka rastlanmadl. Sonur olarak gure$ sporunun gure$cilerde boyun omur/aTim etkiledigi, dejeneratif bozukluklara sebep oldugu ve gerek/i tedbirler almmadlgl takdirde u:un surede bu sporun gure~cilere zarar verdig soylenebilir. Anahtar Ke/ime/er: Omurga, Gure$ri sakatllk/an, Egzersiz SUMMARY In this study, axs becoming smooth, intervertebrate space, vertebrate high, degeneration and spinal space radiographies of the wrestler neck vertebra have been analysed and have been compared with control groups. Wrestlers who were wrestling for sportive clubs or individually and ranked in Turkey and Europe and agematched sedantery subjects were involved in this study. Lateral cervical graphies of subjects were obtained at neutral, at flexion and extention position. Graphies were obtained using General Electrics X-ray apparatus. Statistical analysis were performed using SPSS for Windows. Chi-square test was used for comparison of groups age, sportive age and degenerative changes in vertebral structure. p<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Maximum pathologies which were observed in wrestlers are axs smoothing (%46), intervertebrate space (% 16). vertebrate high (% 10) and degenerative (%22). However in control groups, the pathological findings has been found that axs smoothing (%2,0), intervertebrate space (%2,0) and degenerative (%2,0) and it has not been that vertebrate high and spinal space, T.here was no significant difference between the groups with respect to spinal space (p>0.05). Axs smothing, disc narrowing degeneration and thickness have been fand out more frequently in wrestlers, whife hernia has been found out more frequently in control groups. As to the matters of compression and osteofit, no statistical distinction has beer! found out. Key words: Spinal column, Wrestler injuries, Exercise
