Amaç: Bu araştırmada, 3-15 yaşları arasında çocuğu olan anne ve babaların, çocuklarıyla cinsel iletişim becerileri ile toplumsal cinsiyet adaleti kavramları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Örnekleme yöntemi olarak, kartopu örnekleme kullanılan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ilinde ikamet etmekte olan 3-15 yaşları arasında çocuğu bulunan 181 anne ve babalar oluşturmaktadır. Bulgular: Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, ebeveynlerin öğrenim düzeyleri, çalışma durumları, meslekleri, sahip oldukları çocuk sayısı ve çocuklarının cinsiyetleri ile çocuklarıyla cinsel iletişim becerileri arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte aile birliktelik durumu, meslekleri, sahip oldukları çocuk sayısı ile toplumsal cinsiyet adaleti kavramları arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Ebeveynlerin çocuklarıyla cinsel iletişim beceri düzeyleri ile toplumsal cinsiyet adaleti kavramları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Ebeveynlerin toplumsal cinsiyet adaleti kavramlarının, çocukları ile olan cinsel iletişim becerileri üzerinde yordayıcı etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Aim: In this study, the relationship between the sexual communication skills of mothers and fathers with children between the ages of 3-15 and the concepts of gender justice was examined. Method: The relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The study group of the study, in which snowball sampling was used as the sampling method, consists of 181 mothers and fathers with children between the ages of 3-15 residing in Istanbul. Results: According to the results of the research, significant relationships have been found between parents' educational levels, employment statuses, occupations, number of children they have, genders of their children, and their communication skills regarding sexual topics with their children. Additionally, a significant relationship has been identified between family cohesion status, occupations, the number of children they have, and the concepts of gender equality. A positive and significant relationship was found between parents' communication skill levels regarding sexual topics with their children and the concepts of gender equality. Conclusion: It was concluded that the gender justice concepts of the parents had a predictive effect on their sexual communication skills with their children.
