Abstract:

The main objective in the construction projects carried out with the reunion of many teams and organizations is to be able to reveal a quality work at the most affordable cost, at the time specified. To this objective, it must first be clearly stated what the needs of the project are and how it is to be met, accordingly the capacities of the parties that make up the part of the project should be well identified and ensuring that they meet on a suitable contractual basis. In Turkey, in recent years, this ground has not been created and the sufficiency of contractors and suppliers has not been identified, according to which, with the impact of the work of the European Union, regulations such as Public Procurement Act No. 4734 have been made. In the framework of this work, the construction projects in Turkey will be addressed to the types of project delivery, tender, contractor selection stages and shortcomings and the challenges encountered in this process, in this context the concept of tender management will be addressed with the general lines.
