Abstract:

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the farms in the dairy farms in the Samsun or Bafra district and determine the causes of inefficiency. The data of the study were obtained from 73 identified using the random sampling method. Technical performance measurements are made using the Stokastic Activity Limit Method. In the analysis, the data of five entries and the data of the variable that explains eight inefficiency were used. The company’s average technical performance level is estimated at 89. Companies can obtain the same output by reducing their input use by 9%. The level of education, experience, and the ratio of variables in the milk supply technique of the owner of the business that explains inequality has been found negative and statistically meaningful. However, a positive and statistically meaningful relationship between the variable of family size and inequality has been predicted. To increase the level of technical performance of, it is necessary to increase the level of education of the business owner, to increase professional training and to pay attention to the publication activities.
