Caʿferiyye içerisindeki iki gruptan birisi olan Usûliyye’ye göre mütevâtir haberler ilim ifade eder ve ameli muciptir. Fakat bu grup içerisinde zannî bilgi sağladığı belirtilen haber-i vâhidin delil değeri tartışmalıdır. Caʿferiyye’nin diğer grubu Ahbâriyye ise özellikle meşhur dört hadis kitabındaki tüm haberlerin sahih olduğu ve gereğince amel edilmesi gerektiği görüşündedir. Bununla birlikte her iki gruba mensup âlimler haberler arasında teâruzun vukuunu mümkün görürler. Usûlîler, haberler arasındaki teâruzun nasıl giderileceği hususunda ahbârîlere nazaran daha sistemli önerilerde bulunurlar. Buna göre haberler arasındaki teâruz haberin metni, senedi, hükmü ve harici sebeplere göre değerlendirilerek giderilmeye çalışılır. Ahbârî âlim Esterabâdî’ye göre ise teâruzun imamların konuyla ilgili sözlerinden hareketle giderilmesi gerekir.

According to Usūlīya, one of the two groups in school of Jafarīyah, mutawatir reports expresses knowledge and requires deed. Usūlīs make more systematic suggestions than Akhbārī scholars on how to overcome the conflicts between the reports. According to this, the conflicts between the reports are tried to eliminate by evaluating the text of the report, the sanad, its judgment and external reasons. According to the Akhbārī scholar Esterabādī, conflict should be removed by means of Imams’ words related to the subject.
