Abstract:

Purpose: The aim of this article is to propose a 'Reorganization Model' for change in organizations, to present a roadmap that will help the implementation of the model, and to show that the model increases efficiency when applied in local governments, through corporate performance and employee satisfaction results. Methodology: A literature review was made for each concept in the reorganization model, and a draft model and roadmap were prepared. The drafts were finalized by conducting an unstructured interview technique with senior managers in an organization that partially implemented the model and was successful by winning the EFQM award. In order to show that the model increases organizational efficiency, the results of the application were examined in the same organization by the method of document analysis. Findings: An increase over the years has been observed in the corporate performance and employee satisfaction indicators of the organization that implements the proposed model, and it has been proven that the model increases corporate efficiency. Originality: The point that distinguishes this article from others is that the reorganization model is handled in a holistic and inclusive way based on the literature, it is the first and only model that will create a common language and help organizations in their change processes, that all stages of the model have a systemic perspective and propose a roadmap for its implementation.
