Abstract:

Child abuse is the application by an adult to a child in a certain period of time of unacceptable behavior in that culture. In general, it is defined as any behavior that negatively affects the growth and development of the child. The children who were exposed to the deaths were brought to the emergency services more often due to falls and household accidents. Because the diagnosis of child abuse is not clear, it is necessary to approach with doubt when the child is faced with trauma in the age group. In addition, the medical-legal and social assessment of the incidents in the children’s protection and monitoring centers to be established in hospitals should be carried out with pain and repeated history-examination, not without having any trouble from a single center. Our laws do not contain any special materials in relation to child abuse and child abuse, and the relevant materials are not sufficient in relation to child abuse. Therefore, special laws should be prepared for the prevention of child abuse by the lawmaker and for the treatment of the victims and the provision of benefits to the society. In this study, the case of suspected physical child abuse should be judged, the case of abuse and negligence is aimed at examining the medical, legal and social processes undertaken.       Keywords: child abuse, physical abuse, neglect, home accident, judicial medicine
