Abstract:

The changing society has drawn a new educational-learning perception and teacher profile that has changed the individual with the changing needs. In all relationships, the principle of "to make a lot of money with a little energy" has established to be reactive and not influential. Therefore, teachers must be “leaders” in all aspects. Leading teachers are people with a diction, self-confidence, professional qualification, innovative and courageous to guide, develop the knowledge and skills of a group gathered for specific purposes. The leader is the person leading over others with their existing capabilities, abilities and other characteristics that have a dominant impact on other members. This study is designed to identify the leadership characteristics that teachers of literature need to find. The field scan and expert opinions are required to be found. 12 teachers and 62 students were asked about their views against these attitudes. The results are evaluated by scanning and classification method. Our teachers do not find themselves at the level of the month at the point of influencing the environment, reading and being a example with what they do, while they trust themselves in the matters of professional qualification, class control, self-confidence.
