Abstract:

The aim of this study is to show the views of the staff of the private sector who implement the training program on the training of superior intelligence and talent and to determine the place of the private sector applications in the training of superior intelligence and talent. In the framework of this goal, the working group is composed of seven private school/institutional employees, one who implements the educational program in the field of education of superior intelligence and skills, including a university and six private schools. In this study designed as a quality research, content analysis was used in the analysis of participants’ opinions obtained with the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. As a result of the content analysis, themes, categories, frequencies were obtained and then some opinions were placed. The results of the content analysis were collected under 21 topics and 74 categories. The private sector employees are accidentally or curiosely interested in the field of education of superior intelligence and talent and the educational programs applied to superior intelligence and talented individuals have been shown to be consistent with the achievements of the Ministry of National Education. However, the results of this study showed that it is aimed at improving high-level thinking skills by making differentiations, and that standard tests in student selection as well as teachers’ observations and in teacher selection are important to many factors. However, although the legislation is appropriate in the implementation of the educational programs, it has been revealed that the private sector does not see support, that the training of superior intelligence and talent is attempted to be done by the government's hand. Public-private sector cooperation has achieved the results that more efficient work can be done and that it should be supported by educational policies in the private sector.
