Dünyanın güç dengesinin giderek değiştiğine yönelik görüşler ve raporlar giderek artmaktadır. Bu konudaki raporlardan 2001 tarihli Goldman Sachs raporu BRICs ülkeleri denilen gelişmekte olan ülkelere çekilmiştir. Küresel gelişmelerle birlikte bu ülkeler yeni pozisyonlar alma ve stratejik işbirliği fırsatlarını değerlendirmeye çalışmaktadır. Kapsadığı yüzölçümü, nüfus potansiyeli, yüksek büyüme oranları, teknolojik gelişmişlik ve dış ticaret rakamlarıyla BRICS ülkeleri dünyanın yükselen gücü olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada başarılı ekonomik performanslarıyla dikkatleri üstüne çeken BRICS ülkeleri ile Türkiye arasındaki dış ticareti etkileyen etmenler panel veri yöntemi kullanılarak çekim modeli ile ekonometrik olarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada; Türkiye’nin BRICS ülkeleriyle olan dış ticaretini ne yönde ve ne kadar etkilediklerini araştırmak için modele HamPet, Tic/GSYİH, Linder, DogYat, DogYatTr değişkenleri ilave edilmiştir. Modelin spesifikasyonu; Ln(Totalexportijt )= (α + ut) + β1ln(GDPit) + β2ln(GDPjt) + β3ln(Distijt) + + β4ln(Linderijt) + β5ln(Hampet) + β6ln(DogYat) + β7ln(DogYatTr) + β8ln(TIC/GDPit) + uit . Sonuçlar test edilip yorumlanmıştır.
The views and reports on the world’s power balance are increasingly changing. The 2001 Goldman Sachs report has been drawn to developing countries called the BRICs. With global developments, these countries are trying to take new positions and evaluate opportunities for strategic cooperation. With its percentage, population potential, high growth rates, technological advancement and external trade figures, the BRICS countries are classified as the world’s rising power. The factors that influence foreign trade between the BRICS countries and Turkey with their successful economic performance in this study have been econometrically studied with the drawing model using the panel data method. In the study; to investigate what direction and how they affect the foreign trade of Turkey with the BRICS countries, the model has been added to HamPet, Tic/GDP, Linder, DogYat, DogYatTr variables. The specification of the model; Ln(Totalexportijt )= (α + ut) + β1ln(GDPit) + β2ln(GDPjt) + β3ln(Distijt) + β4ln(Linderijt) + β5ln(Hampet) + β6ln(DogYat) + β7ln(DogYatTr) + β8ln(TIC/GDPit) + uit . The results are tested and interpreted.
