Bu çalışmanın amacı, hasta güvenliği kültürünü ölçmede en sık kullanılan araçlardan biri olan Güvenlik Tutumları Anketinin (Safety Attitudes Questionnaire: SAQ) kullanıldığı yayınların bibliyometrik göstergeler açısından incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, öncelikle hasta güvenliği ve hasta güvenliği kültürü kavramı açıklanmıştır. Daha sonra hasta güvenliği kültürü ile hasta sonuçları ve güvenlik performansı arasındaki ilişkiler irdelenmiştir. Ardından hasta güvenliği kültürünün nasıl ölçülebileceği ve Güvenlik Tutumları Anketi üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu anketin kullanıldığı yayınların bibliyometrik analizini yapmak için veriler Web of Science veri tabanından alınmıştır. Doküman türü olarak sadece makaleler, yayın tarihi olarak 01.01.1945-23.04.2021 seçilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, metin madenciliği işlevleri ve gelişmiş görselleştirme seçenekleri nedeniyle VOSviewer programı (versiyon 1.6.16) kullanılmış ve bibliyometrik ağlar bu program aracılığıyla görselleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen 236 makalenin bibliyometrik analizi sonucunda; SAQ kullanan yayınlarda artış olduğu, en çok atıf yapılan makalenin “The Safety Attitudes Questionnaire: psychometric properties, benchmarking data, and emerging research” olduğu, en üretken yazarın J.B. Sexton, en çok makale yayınlayan derginin “BMC Health Services Research” ve en üretken ülkenin Amerika Birleşik Devletleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Makalelerin başlığında ve özetinde en fazla kullanılan terimler; güvenlik, hız, ekip çalışması, müdahale, versiyon, araç ve korelasyondur. Terim haritası beş küme (güvenlik, ekip çalışması, müdahale ve sonuç; ölçüm aracı ve ölçüm sonuçları; kesitsel çalışma; organizasyon ve strateji; yoğun bakım üniteleri) göstermiştir. SAQ kullanan çalışmalarda son yıllarda ortaya çıkan güncel temalar ise; duygusal tükenme, tükenmişlik ve hastane yönetimidir. SAQ kullanan makaleleri makroskopik ve yapılandırılmış bir bakış açısıyla değerlendiren ve literatürdeki mevcut araştırma eğilimlerini ortaya koyan bu çalışma, Güvenlik Tutumları Anketini kullanarak araştırma yapmayı planlayanlara yol gösterebilir.
The aim of this study is to study publications using the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire (SAQ), one of the most commonly used tools in measuring the patient safety culture, in terms of bibliometric indicators. For this purpose, the concept of patient safety and patient safety culture was first explained. The relationship between the patient’s safety culture and the patient’s results and the safety performance was later established. Then it was focused on how the patient safety culture can be measured and the Safety Attitudes Survey. The data were collected from the Web of Science database to make the bibliometric analysis of the publications used in this survey. As a document type, only articles, the publication date was selected as 01.01.1945-23.04.2021. In data analysis, the VOSviewer program (version 1.6.16) was used due to text mining functions and advanced visualization options, and the bibliometric networks were visualized through this program. As a result of the bibliometric analysis of the 236 obtained articles; the increased publications using SAQ; the most referred article is "The Safety Attitudes Questionnaire: psychometric properties, benchmarking data, and emerging research"; the most productive author is J.B. Sexton; the most published article magazine is "BMC Health Services Research" and the most productive country is the United States. The terms most used in the title and summary of the articles are: safety, speed, teamwork, intervention, version, vehicle and correlation. The term map shows five groups (security, teamwork, intervention and result; measurement tool and measurement results; cutting work; organization and strategy; intensive maintenance units). The current topics that have emerged in the studies using SAQ in recent years are: emotional exhaustion, exhaustion and hospital management. This study, which evaluates articles using SAQ from a macroscopic and structured perspective and reveals current research trends in literature, can lead those who plan to do research using the Security Attitudes Survey.

As a result of the bibliometric analysis of the 236 articles obtained, it was found that; there is an increase in publications using the SAQ, the most cited article is “The Safety Attitudes Questionnaire: psychometric properties, benchmarking data, and emerging research”, the most productive author is J.B. Sexton, the journal that published the most articles is “BMC Health Services Research” and the most productive country is the United States of America. The most frequently used terms in the title and abstract of the articles are; safety, rate, teamwork, intervention, version, tool and correlation. The terms map has showed five clusters (safety, teamwork, intervention and outcome; measurement tool and measurement results; cross-sectional study; organization and strategy; intensive care units). Current themes that have emerged in recent years in studies using SAQ are; emotional exhaustion, burnout and hospital management. This study, which evaluates articles using the SAQ from a macroscopic and structured perspective and reveals current research trends in the literature, may guide those who plan to conduct research using the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire.
