Kur’an’ın tencîmî olarak inzâl edilmesi; onun yirmi üç yıllık zaman diliminde âyetlerini Hz. Peygamber’e peyderpey indirmiş olmasını ifade eden bir anlayıştır. Kur’an, Cahiliye toplumunun inanç-ibadet algısını ve ahlâki değerlerini dikkate almıştır. Vahyin, âyetleri bu eksende tencîmi olarak indirmesi ile toplumun da Kur’an’ın amacı doğrultusunda tevhîdî bir ahlâk toplumuna dönüştürülmesine tedrîcîlik denir. Tedrîcîlik, birey ve toplum hayatının sosyal dokusunu değiştirmede aşamalılık ilkesidir. Biz bu makalemizde iki amaç hedefledik. Birincisi tencîm ve tedrîc kavramlarının ifade ettiği farklı anlama temas etmek olacaktır. İkincisi ise, diyalektik bir ilişki çerçevesinde, vahiy döneminde Kur’an’ın tencîmî bir yöntemle kendi teşekkülünü oluştururken diğer yandan da toplumu şekillendirmesine (teşkil) değinmek olacaktır. Bu diyalektik ilişki sonucu İslâm toplumunun oluşum aşamalarında tedrîcîliğin, Kur’an’ın temel amaçlarına ulaşmada bir yönlendirme/metod olduğu aşikardır. Bu metoda göre de her çağda toplumların kendi dinamiklerine vahyin ictihâdî bir dinamizmle cevap üretmesi mümkündür. Nass-olgu diyalektiği bağlamında tedrîcîlik ilkesi bize bazı ipuçları vermektedir. Bu yöndeki ictihâdî dinamizm bizim makalemizin esasını oluşturmaktadır.
The revelation of the Qur'an piece by piece means that the Quran verses were not revealed to the Prophet at once, but were sent down gradually in twenty-three years time. The Qur'an has taken into account the faith-worship perception and moral values of the ignorant society. The piecemeal revelation of the Qur'an verses and in line with the purpose of the Qur'an transformation of the society into a moral one which believes in unification and oneness of Allah (tawhid) means gradualism. In other words, gradualism means changing the social fabric of individual and community life. In this article, we primarily aim to touch upon the different meanings of the concepts of piecemeal and gradualism. Furthermore, we aim to indicate that there is a dialectical relationship in the period of revelation in which while the formation process of the Qur'an was ongoing, it itself also continued to shape the society with a piecemeal method as well. As a result of this dialectical relationship, it is obvious that gradualism is a method for reaching the basic aims of the Qur'an in the formation stages of the Islamic society. According to this method, In the context of the divine decree (nass)-fact dialectic, the principle of gradualism guides us and gives some clues. In this regard, ijtihad dynamism will be the basis of our article.
