Abstract:

There has been a rapid transformation in public administration education. In order to adapt to these changes, it is necessary to update public administration education. More efforts are needed to increase the quality of public administration education. Different institutions have been established to train talented managers in public administration in Turkey. The influence of many institutions such as the Enderun School, which was implemented in the Ottoman Period in Turkey, is felt today. Institutions are reorganized according to changing conditions for the training of public administrators. In this study, primarily the institutions that train public administrators in Turkey were examined. In the historical process, the changes that the institutions established to train managers have undergone are explained. Public administration education has been emphasized in the digitalization process. The problems experienced in public administration education were explained and suggestions were made. The result reached in the research; it is the reorganization of the public administration by taking into account the changes at the central level in order to increase the quality in public administration education. In public administration education, course contents and materials in education need to be redesigned. In public administration education, a system that will integrate theory and practice should be implemented.
