Social media platforms have revolutionized communication and information sharing, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the healthcare industry. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of relevant studies, this research will provide insights into the potential benefits, challenges, and implications of social media in the healthcare domain. This research paper examines the significant impact of social media on the healthcare sector. This research paper explores the various ways in which social media has influenced healthcare, including patient engagement, healthcare promotion, professional networking, and healthcare research. Additionally, the paper addresses the potential benefits and risks associated with social media use in healthcare and offers recommendations for effective and ethical utilization.
