However, the psychology of religion is a discipline examines the influence of religion on the individual's feelings, thoughts, attitudes and behaviors and handles objectively the religious subjects with knowledge, rule and experience in psychology. While Islamic sciences carrying out their missions, they can appropriately respond in a more healthy way the individual and social needs by cooperating with other departments and also they can make self-evaluation of responsibilities in religious life through the results obtained from the field of Philosophy and Religious Studies. The main aim of the present study is to determine in this context individual acquisition of the students of Divinity School in the course of psychology of religion. Although there has been department of psychology of religion in our country since the foundation of Divinity Schools, in recent years some negative critics and some comments outside of to be done regarding the department has been made. According the results of the considerations psychology of religion does not have to take in the education of Theology. The sample group of the present study (123 Divinity, 32 DKAB) consists of totally 155 persons randomly selected from the students who take the course of psychology of religion in Divinity School in Dokuz Eylül University. Psychology of religion course Feedback Questionnaire was used as for instrument to collect data, which was prepared by the researcher and also includes open-ended questions. According to the findings, some acquisitions were witnessed on Divinity school students, such as self-awareness, to be able to see religious issues and events from different aspects, self-expression, to be able to understand religious life and different forms of religiosity, self-confidence and empathy.
