So many results that aren't mine?

BURNOUT LEVEL OF THE NURSES WORKING IN RESIDENTIAL HOUSES

Abstract:

Introduction: This research was carried out to investigate burnout levels of the nurses working in residential hosuses. Materials and Method: This research was conducted among 100 nurses working in five residential houses who have accepted to participate in this study after all the neccessary permissions were taken from the instutes. Data was collected by a questionnaire including 14 questions and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The data was evaluated by using percentage, Anova and Student t test. Results: The MBI point average of the nurses who worked for 1-10 years had been found statistically considerably higher than the nurses who worked for 11-15 years. The MBI point average of the nurses who worked for 6-10 years had been found statistically considerably higher than the nurses who worked for less than 1 year. The MBI point average of the nurses who were not pleased about their department had been found statistically considerably higher than the nurses who were pleased about their department (p<0.05). Conclusion: Burnout level of nurses who were not satisfied with their jobs and worked for a few years and who worked for longer years had been found higher than other nurses.
