Geçmiş ve bugünkü çalışmaların ışığında meydana getirilen Türkçe Sözlük’te evlilik kavram dünyasına ait belirlediğimiz ad ve eylemlerin çokluğu, çeşitliliği, anlamları, köken ve yapıları bize Türkçenin evlilik temelli söz varlığına dair kapsamlı bir bilgi sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk dili ve kültüründe köklü bir yeri olan evliliğe dair sözcüklerin köken bakımından tasnifini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın problem durumunu; “Türkçe Sözlük’te -madde başları ile sınırlandırılan- evlilik kavramlarının kökenleri nelerdir? ”sorusu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın alt problemleri ise şunlardır: 1) Türkçe Sözlük’te evlilik kavramıyla ilişkili adlar ve eylemler nelerdir? 2) Evlilik kavramları köken bakımından nasıl bir görünüş sergilemektedir? Nitel araştırma yaklaşımının benimsendiği araştırmada doküman analizine yer verilmiştir. Çalışma 2011 yılında yayımlanan TDK Türkçe Sözlük’te yer alan evlilik kavramına ilişkin adlar ve eylemler taranarak hazırlanmıştır. Evlilik kavramına dair madde başı olarak 581 ad ve eylemin geçtiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu kavramlardan 305 sözcük isim sınıfından, 87 sözcük fiil sınıfından, 188’i söz öbeği hâlinde, 1’i de cümle hâlinde sayılmıştır. Evlilik kavramı incelenirken Türkçe kökenli sözcüklerin 215, yabancı kökenli sözcüklerin 153 olduğu, söz öbeği hâlindeki kavramlardan Türkçe + Türkçe kuruluşundakilerin 103, Türkçe ile kurulu yabancı kökenli söz öbeklerinin 63, her iki sözcüğü yabancı kökenli söz öbeklerinin ise 44 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Cümle hâlindeki 1 kavram da yabancı köken + Türkçe kuruluşundadır. Aynı köke sahip 2 kavramın kökeni belli değildir. Çalışmada ele aldığımız sözcüklerin ezici çoğunluğunun Türkçe kökenli olduğunu; Türkçe Sözlük’teki sözcük hâlindeki evlilik kavramlarında Doğu dillerinden Arapçanın, Batı dillerinden Fransızcanın; söz öbeği hâlindeki kavramlarda Doğu dillerinden yine Arapçanın, Batı dillerindense Yunancanın etkisinin diğer dillere oranla daha fazla olduğunu görmekteyiz.
In the Turkish dictionary, created in the light of past and present studies, the multiplicity, diversity, meanings, origins and structures of the names and actions that we define in the world of marriage concept, provide us with a comprehensive information about marriage-based vocabulary of Turkish. The aim of this study is to reveal the classification of words about marriage in terms of origin, which have a deep-rooted place in Turkish language and culture. The question, "What are the origins of the concepts of marriage in the Turkish dictionary-limited by the heads of articles?" forms the problem sentence of the study. The sub-problem sentences of the study are: 1) What are the names and actions associated with the concept of marriage in the Turkish dictionary? 2) How do the concepts of marriage appear in terms of origin? Document analysis was included in the study, which adopted a qualitative research approach. The study was prepared by scanning the names and actions related to the concept of marriage in the TDK Turkish dictionary published in 2011. 581 names and acts have been found to have passed as per article on the concept of marriage. Of these concepts, 305 words were counted from the noun class, 87 words were counted from the verb class, 188 were counted as phrases and 1 was counted as sentences. While examining the concept of marriage, it was determined that the words of Turkish origin were 215, words of foreign origin were 153, the words in Turkish + Turkish constitution of the phrasal concepts were 103, the foreign-origin phrases established in Turkish were 63, and the phrases of both words were foreign. One concept in sentence form is in the foundation of foreign origin + Turkish. The origin of 2 concepts with the same root is not clear. We see that the overwhelming majority of the words we consider in the study are of Turkish origin; In the lexical concepts of marriage in the Turkish Dictionary, Arabic from Eastern languages, French from Western languages; In phrasal concepts, we see that the influence of Arabic from Eastern languages and Greek from Western languages are more than other languages.
