The aim of this study was to determine the pre-service primary education teachers` views about reflective thinking skills and to find out the effects of pre-service teachers` genders, education types and class levels on these reflective thinking skills. Due to the lack of reaching the whole population, the selection of the sample was done by rational sampling method. The sampling of this study was consisting of 214 pre-service teachers from 3rd and 4th grades at Education Faculty of Pamukkale University in the academic year of 2011–2012. For data analysis, `SPSS for Windows 16.0 (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)` package program was used. In order to collect the data, the reflective thinking scale developed by Güney (2008) was used. The Cronbach`s alpha reliability coefficient was found as r=0,90. The findings were analyzed by the techniques of descriptive statistics and nonparametric statistics. According to the results of the study, it was found that pre-service teachers views about reflective thinking skills were at the level of completely agree with 73.4%. In addition to this, it was found that there was a significant relation between pre-service teachers views about reflective thinking skills and their genders whereas there was not any significant relation between their reflective thinking skills and their education types and class levels.
