Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to reveal the words that break the male language with the different men’s (like) states that the female language builds in the cinema in the male domination. As an example in the article, the director Pelin Esmer's 11 to 10 Kala (2009), the Observatory Tower (2012) and What's Useful (2017) films were selected. The brown builds the masculinity in his films instead of setting them as the main subject of a critical element in the story of the film. This makes his cinema important for the article. The different masculine states built in the cinema by Esmer, which we call the female cinema, the transformations of these masculines in their relationships with each other and with female characters and the acts they show in relation to the top-building in relation to their patriarchal hegemonic masculine behavior; character-focused look and narrative and cinematography, along with the use of qualitative research methods of the sociological film analysis. As a result of this analysis, Esmer's films showed that different social gender buildings could be possible, by producing an alternative female language to both the classical film story and the determining eril speech.
