Abstract:

Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde yer alan kavramlara ilişkin mülteci öğrencilerin algılarının öğrenci ve öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesinin amaçlandığı bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İlkokul 4. Sınıf düzeyinde öğrenim görmekte olan 13 mülteci öğrenci ve 8 sınıf öğretmeni araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırmış görüşme formuyla elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışma grubunu oluşturan öğrenci ve öğretmen görüşlerinden elde edilen bulgulara göre sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik algıları olumlu olan mülteci öğrenciler, dersi faydalı, yeni bilgiler öğrendikleri, eğlenceli ve hayatı kolaylaştıran bir ders olarak ifade etmişlerdir. Sosyal bilgiler dersinde geçen kavramlara yönelik algıları zor olan öğrencilerin daha çok günlük hayatta karşılığı olmayan kavramları algılamakta zorlandıkları, aynı dili kullanmıyor olmanın getirdiği iletişimsel problemleri yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

In this study, which aims to study the perceptions of refugees students regarding the concepts included in the Social Information course according to the students and teachers' opinions, a quality research method has been used. The Primary 4. 13 refugees students and 8 class teachers who are studying at class level form the research work group. The data of the study was obtained through a semi-configured interview form. The data obtained is subject to content analysis. According to the findings obtained from the students and teachers’ opinions that form the working group; refugees students with positive perceptions of the social information course have expressed the lesson as useful, new information they learn, fun and a lesson that makes life easier. It has been found that students who have difficult perceptions of the concepts passed in the social information course have more difficulty in perceiving the concepts that are not corresponding to their daily lives, and they have communicative problems brought by not using the same language.
