Abstract:

Temmoku secrets form a secret group that can develop at high temperatures, with a high iron ratio, containing benches or lines on its surfaces, variing from clear brown to dark brown and black. These special secrets, which have succeeded inining their existence from the past to the present day, have become a kind of secret that artists prefer to use in their works. The aim of this study is to explore the development of Temmoku from the Far East Ceramic Secrets in the historical process, to explore the availability of these high iron-percentage secrets in the raw materials used mainly in ceramics and in today’s conditions. The research was first done literary scan on the subject; according to the found data, the experimental method was used for the preparation of alkali-containing secrets consisting of basic raw materials such as feldispat, caolen, quarts, marble, dolomite, zinc oxide, soda, magnesium. The coloring process was carried out by adding iron oxide in the range of 6-13%. The prepared secret mixture is applied to porselen bodies and cooked in a neutral environment in an electrical oven at 1200°C. As a result of the study, the study was supported by providing examples of iron-rich secrets with different surface characteristics.
