Abstract:

The use of nursing theory and models in the fields of education, management, application and research of nursing is the basis and guidance by providing a conceptual framework for these fields. Orem’s Care Deficiency In the Nursing Theory explains why self-care is needed for continuity of life. Care is that individuals do their duties to maintain their lives, health and well-being. According to Orem, the purpose of nursing is to assist the individual until he becomes his own individual care, and to ensure that he takes on his own individual care at the time of the assistant. Conjustive heart failure is a condition in which the body is unable to provide sufficient heart rate to meet its metabolic needs. The goals of nursing in heart failure are to prevent complications, evaluate the effects of treatment, increase exercise tolerance, educate the patient/family. In this presentation of the fact, the diagnosis of "conjestive heart failure" and the patient monitored in the coronary intensive care unit according to Orem's "care theory" determined the needs of self-care, and the aim of the presentation of the nursing care plan according to each stage of the theory.
