Abstract:

While human beings continue to research and develop renewable energy sources, they try to minimize the damage they have caused to the world. Biogas used as an energy source is produced from waste materials and organic materials. By producing the biogas, both energy is obtained and the environmentally harmful products which have become unused waste are reduced. Biogas is consumed with different uses, especially in electricity generation. The Odayeri waste gas plant – biogas plant, which is located in Istanbul in the production of biomass electricity, ranks first with its installed power of 34MWe. Some of the power plants sell 1kwh to the state during the agreement with the price of $0.1330.
