In this study, the trade flows between the countries of Turkey were analyzed by the structural drawing model. The drawing model, widely used in foreign trade literature to predict the impact of trade costs on trade flows, was used in this study in the study of interregional trade flows. The study covers the years 2006-2020 of the 81 provinces of Turkey. Problems such as zero trade flows, which are frequently encountered in the drawing model literature, and the impairment of multiple resistance terms, have been addressed by various econometric methods. According to the findings, the increase in the GDP of the provinces that trade between them, the neighbourhood relationship of the provinces and the sea coast of the provinces increases the bilateral trade, while the distance between the two provinces and the border of the provinces with a neighbouring country reduces the bilateral trade. In addition, the analysis resulted in a reverse conclusion of the Linder hypothesis forecast. According to this, the differences in demand conditions between the provinces in Turkey have an increasing impact on bilateral trade.
