Abstract:

Problem kurma; bize verilen bir durumdan, yaşanan bir deneyimden yeni bir problem oluşturma sürecidir. Problem kurma, problem çözme becerileriyle oldukça yakın ilişkili olup problem çözme becerisinin gelişimine de katkı sağlamaktadır. Alan yazında geometri öğrenme alanında ortaokul sınıf düzeylerinin tamamını kapsayan, öğrencilerin problem kurma stratejilerini açığa çıkaran bir çalışmanın bulunmadığı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle bu araştırmada matematik dersinin önemli alanlarından biri olan geometri öğrenme alanında ortaokul öğrencilerinin problem kurma stratejileri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak ise nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden özel durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırma İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece ilçesinde bulunan 14 farklı ortaokulda öğrenim gören farklı sınıf düzeyinden toplam 160 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde nitel veri analizi tekniklerinden içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri “Problem Kurma Etkinlikleri” ve “Görüşme Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öğrencilerin problem kurarken on üç farklı problem kurma stratejisini kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin en çok kullandıkları problem kurma stratejileri Günlük Yaşama Uyarlama Stratejisi ve Şekil Çizip Şekle Göre Problemi Yapılandırma Stratejisi olurken öğrencilerin en az kullandıkları problem kurma stratejileri Geriye Doğru Düzeltme Stratejisi ve Duygusal Yaklaşım Stratejisi olmuştur.

Abstract:

Creating a problem is a process of creating a new problem from a situation given to us, from an experience experienced. Problem creation is closely related to problem-solving skills and contributes to the development of problem-solving skills. There is no study in the field of geometry learning in the summer that covers the entire level of high school classes, revealing the students’ strategies of problem-making. Therefore, this study has studied the problem-making strategies of high school students in the field of geometry learning, which is one of the important fields of the mathematics course. As a method of research, a special case study method is used. The research was carried out with a total of 160 students from different class levels studying in 14 different high schools located in the province of Istanbul. In the analysis of the data obtained in the study, content analysis from the quality data analysis techniques was used. The data of the study was collected with the "Problem Making Activities" and "Conversation Form". According to the findings obtained in the study, students were found to use 13 different problems-building strategies when creating problems. The most commonly used problem-building strategies are the Daily Life Adjustment Strategy and the Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character Character
