Rapid change in information technologies along with the gainings from business life has created new working types and flexibility in the business life. Part time working or working at home, teleworking, compressed work weeks are the types of flexible working. The purpose of the study is to analyze the socio-psychologic conditions of part time workers in the tertiary sector. The reasons why employees prefer part time working, those who prefer working part time more than the others, main features of part time working or those who work part time are touched upon in this study. The effects or contributions of part time workers in the tertiary sector on the sector itself or on the business life are among the purposes of this study.
