Abstract:

Plant design is one of the important stages of landscape design, as it allows the addition of natural materials to space design. Like the plant design, the plant species used are also important at this stage. In the selection of plant species, the aesthetic and functional contributions that plants will contribute to the design have an important role. In addition, the ecological desires and adaptations of plants also influence the choice of plants and the decision of use. Thus, extremely limited alternatives that vary according to the region shape plant design. Under these conditions, the plant species in the natural vegetation of the area provide advantages. It also increases the possibility of adaptation of the same-gender brothers and sisters of the species in natural vegetation. Therefore, the preference of species included in natural vegetation is an important plus for designers. This situation also provides an opportunity for the preservation of the natural plant existence of the region and for cultural use. The study discussed the Corylus species from the dominant plant assets and the basic economic product of the Black Sea Region. The main objective of the study is to raise awareness for the use of individuals from different species and beings of the Corylus gender, especially with their phonskyonal and aesthetic characteristics, in landscape designs. At the same time, the use of this plant in urban areas and living areas is also valuable in terms of supporting the feasible landscape phenomenon. For this purpose, the literary scan and the study of 16 varieties of 5 species of Corylus species and beings were studied. Especially taking into account the colors, shapes and ecological needs of the leaves, it can be said that in urban and rural landscape studies, nuts can be used as an alternative decorative plant.
