Bu araştırmanın amacı devlet okullarında görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderliğine ve örgüt sağlığına yönelik algıları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlik ve okullardaki örgüt sağlığı düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Balıkesir ilinde 4 hizmet bölgesinden seçilen ilçelerde yer alan ilkokullarda görev yapmakta olan 212 öğretmene, Pisapia’nın geliştirdiği (2010) ve Aydın’ın (2012) Türkçeye uyarladığı “Stratejik Liderlik Ölçeği (SLÖ)” ve Özdemir’in (2006) geliştirdiği “Örgüt Sağlığı Ölçme Envanteri (ÖSÖE) ” uygulanmıştır. Araştırma evrenini Balıkesir ilindeki 665 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini, “Altıeylül” merkez ilçesi ile “Susurluk”, “Bigadiç”, “Kepsut” ilçelerinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem, basit seçkisiz yöntem kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Öğretmenler tarafından cevaplanan “Stratejik Liderlik Ölçeği” ve “Örgüt Sağlığı Ölçme Envanteri” veri sonuçları SPSS 22.0 programında analiz edilmiş, bu sayede okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlikleri ve okullardaki örgüt sağlığı düzeyleri değerlendirilmiştir. Stratejik liderlik ve alt boyutlarıyla örgüt sağlığı ve alt boyutları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi için pearson korelasyon kullanılmıştır. Stratejik liderliğin örgüt sağlığına etkisini belirlemek için regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Stratejik liderlik ve örgüt sağlığı arasında orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Stratejik liderliğin örgüt sağlığının belirlenmesinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Stratejik liderlik özellikleri sergileyen okul yöneticilerinin bulunduğu okullarda örgüt sağlığı düzeyinin yüksek olmasının beklenebileceği ifade edilebilir. Bundan dolayı stratejik lider olarak okul müdürleri gerektiğinde yönetsel, etik politik, dönüşümsel ya da iletişimsel uygulamaları dengeli ve başarılı şekilde gerçekleştirebilmeli, değişimleri takip ederek değişime hızlı, sorunsuz şekilde uyum gösterebilmelidir.
The aim of this research is to explore the relationship between the perceptions of class teachers in public schools of school managers about strategic leadership and the organization’s health. Relational scan model was used in the research. To determine the strategic leadership of school managers and organizational health levels in schools, 212 teachers who are working in primary schools located in the selected districts of 4 service areas in Fiskesir province, Pisapia developed (2010) and Aydin (2012) adapted to Turkish "Strategic Leadership Scale (SLÖ)" and Özdemir (2006) developed "Organization Health Measurement Reserve (ÖSÖE) ". The research universe was formed by 665 class teachers in the Fishesir province. The examples of the study are made by class teachers who work in the districts "Susurluk", "Bigadiç", "Kepsut" with the "Six-September" central district. Examples are created using a simple, unselective method. The "Strategic Leadership Scale" and "Organization Health Measurement Reserve" data results answered by teachers were analyzed in the SPSS 22.0 program, thus assessing the strategic leadership of school managers and the organizational health levels in schools. The pearson correlation has been used to determine the relationship between strategic leadership and underdimensions with the organization’s health and underdimensions. Regression analysis has been applied to determine the impact of strategic leadership on the health of the organization. A positive relationship between strategic leadership and organizational health has been found. The conclusion is that strategic leadership is a significant contributor to the determination of the organization’s health. It can be said that in schools where the school managers show strategic leadership characteristics, the organization’s health level may be high. Consequently, as a strategic leader, school managers should be able to implement administrative, ethical, transformational or communication practices in a balanced and successful way when necessary, and they should be able to adjust quickly and without problems to change by following changes.
