İnsanların müşterek tutkuları arasında yer alan geleceği bilme arzusu çok eski zamanlardan itibaren insanları, rüyalar ile yaşanan ve yaşanacak olan hadiseler arasında ilgi kurmaya yöneltmiştir. Bu durum rüyaların tabirinin yapılmasına ve rüyalarda görülen kavramların neyi sembolize ettiğini izah eden pek çok eserin kaleme alınmasına vesile olmuştur. Edebiyatımızda bu türden eserlere “tabîrnâme” adı verilmiştir. Mensur şekilde yazılmakla birlikte manzum örneklerine de rastlanan tabîrnâmeler, genellikle bâb sistemi ile tasnif edilmiştir. Türk edebiyatında bir tür olarak XIV. asırdan itibaren görülmeye başlanan tabîrnâmelerin birçoğu Arapçadan tercüme edilmiş eserlerdir. Rüya tabirciliği ile bilinen Basralı İbn Sîrîn’in (ö. 110/729) tabîrnâmesi, Türk edebiyatında tercümesi en çok yapılan eserlerdendir. Bu çalışma Mostar Hersek Devlet Arşivi 631 numarada kayıtlı tabîrnâme üzerinedir. Daha önce herhangi bir akademik çalışmaya konu olmayan tabîrnâme, Hacı Muhammed Mostârî tarafından İbn Sîrîn’den tercüme edilmiştir. Çalışmada rüya, rüya tabiri, tabîrnâmeler ve İbn Sîrîn’in Türk edebiyatındaki tercümeleri hakkında genel bilgiler verildikten sonra söz konusu eserin şekil ve muhteva özelliklerine değinilmiştir. 63 varaktan müteşekkil tabîrnâmenin çevriyazılı metninin tamamına yer vermek makale sınırlarını aşacağı için tabîrnâme içerisinden seçilen bölümlerin Latin harflerine aktarımı yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmayla hem tabîrnâme türüne hem de Türk edebiyatında İbn Sîrîn’den yapılan tercümelere katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır.
It is a common desire that people want to know about the future, thus this has led people to make a connection between dreams and future events since ancient times. Therefore, there have been lots of work which are about the interpretation of dreams and lots of piece has been written about what are the images symbolize. These pieces are called “book of dream interpretation” in our literature. They may have been written in different forms such as prose and poetry, and, they generally categorized in the partition system. The books of dream interpretation which were usually translated from Arabic, have been started to be considered as a genre in the literature since 14th century. The book of dream interpretation of Basralı İbn Sin who was famous for his dream interpretations, was the most translated work in the Turkish literature. This study focuses on the book of dream interpretation which is recorded in the State Archive of Mostar Herzegovina on number of 631. This piece of dream interpretation book, which was translated by Hacı Muhammed Mostari from İbn Sirin, has never been an issue of a study before. The study informs about dream, dream interpretation, the book of dream interpretation and the translation of İbn Sirin in Turkish literature and after that the aforementioned work is investigated in the light of its form and content. That book of dream interpretation includes 63 parts, so the study is not able to involve all of the parts, therefore, specific parts are chosen and converted into Latin alphabet. It is aimed to contribute both the genre of dream interpretation book and translation from İbn Sirin into Turkish literature with this study.
