Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to study the attitudes of the parents in Tekirdağ province towards non-class sports activities. The research group of this study consists of 432 parents with children in Tekirdağ and their districts. The data collection tool consists of two sections. The first part is personal information. This section consists of gender, profession, level of well-being, the status of the child’s direction to the sport, the status of the child’s care for a sport industry and the frequency of doing sport. In the second part, Yılmaz and Trust (2015) developed 17 questions, 3 factors and 5 liquid type scales. The first factor is defined as personal development, the second factor is academic perception and the third factor is social support. The lowest score to be taken from the scale is 17 while the highest score is 85. The scale (5, 10, 13) Substances are negative substances and are calculated in the form of reverse score. The statistics were made with the SPSS program and in all assessments the statistical significance level was accepted as p<0,05. The study found that the parent’s attitudes towards non-class sports events were above the average.

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; Tekirdağ ilindeki ebeveynlerin ders dışı sportif etkinliklere yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmanın araştırma grubunu Tekirdağ ili ve ilçelerindeki 432 çocuk sahibi ebeveyn oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm kişisel bilgi formudur. Bu bölümde cinsiyet, meslek, refah düzeyi, çocuğu spora yönlendirme durumu, çocuğunun bir spor branşıyla ilgilenme durumu ve spor yapma sıklığı bilgilerinden oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölümde Yılmaz ve Güven (2015) yılında geliştirdiği 17 soru, 3 faktör ve 5’li likert tipindeki ölçek kullanılmıştır. Birinci faktör “kişisel gelişim, ikinci faktör akademik algı ve üçüncü faktör ise sosyal destek olarak tanımlanmıştır. Ölçekten alınabilecek en düşük puan 17 iken en yüksek puan 85’dir. Ölçekteki (5, 10, 13.) maddeler olumsuz maddeler olup, ters puanlanma şeklinde hesaplanmıştır. İstatistikler SPSS programıyla yapılmış ve yapılan tüm değerlendirmelerde istatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucu olarak katılımcıların ders dışı sportif etkinliklere yönelik ebeveyn tutumlarının ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
