KFG, toplam kalite yönetim felsefesi içerisinde müşteri istek ve beklentilerinin karşılanmasına yönelik tasarımdan satış sonrası hizmetleri de içine alan bütünleşik bir yaklaşımdır. Bu yaklaşımda esas olan müşterilerin beklentilerini sürecin her aşamasına dahil etmektir.Bu çalışmada imalat sektöründen farklı olarak bir hizmet kurumu olan üniversitede uygulama yapılmıştır. Çalışmada yüksek lisans programlarının müşteri (öğrenci) istek ve beklentileri dikkate alınarak yeniden tasarlanması amaçlanmıştır.Sonuç olarak çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular çerçevesince yüksek lisans programının nasıl olması gerektiği hususu önerilmiştir.
