Objectives: Erectile Dysfunction ED is an important problem that decreases the quality of life all over the world. In addition, it is an important health problem because it occurs as a result of systemic diseases and/or it is a precursor of some of the complications of systemic diseases. In this study, we aim to determine the most important etiologic risk factors in patients with a diagnosis of organic ED. Material and Methods: A total of 273 male patients with a clinical diagnosis of organic ED from andrology outpatient clinics and 110 agematched control group with any reason except the ED from general urology outpatient clinics enrolled in this study at Istanbul Medeniyet Universty Faculty of Medicine. Physical examination, medical history, the International Index of Erectile Function Questionnaire IIEF5 scores and laboratory findings of all patients have been examined. The importance of risk factors smoking, hyperlipidemia HL , hypertension HT , diabetes mellitus DM , coronary artery disease CAD , previous pelvic surgery predisposing to ED have been identified via univariate and multivariate analysis models.Results: Smoking, HL, HT, DM, CAD, and previous pelvic surgery were found to be a statistically significant risk factors for ED in the univariate model p
