Bu araştırmada, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çocuk edebiyatına yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubu, COVID-19 pandemi sürecinde araştırmanın gerçekleştirilebilmesi için kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemiyle belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri Karagül (2020) tarafından geliştirilen “Çocuk Edebiyatına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ile toplanmış ve öğretmenlerin ölçekten aldıkları puanlar yaş, cinsiyet, öğrenim durumu ve mesleki kıdem değişkenleri açısından incelenmiştir. Ölçek, yaşanılan pandemi sürecinde okul öncesi öğretmenlerine, dijital ortama aktarılarak ve sosyal medya araçları kullanılarak ulaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Mann Withney U ve Kruskal Wallis testlerinden elde edilen sonuçlar incelendiğinde, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çocuk edebiyatına yönelik tutumlarına ilişkin ölçek puanlarının yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Yaş değişkeninin, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çocuk edebiyatına yönelik tutumlarını etkilemediği, mesleki kıdem ve öğrenim düzeyi değişkenlerinin ise olumlu yönde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to examine the attitudes of preschool teachers towards children’s literature. The study group was determined with convenience sampling to carry out the study during the COVID-19 pandemic process and data were collected with “Attitude Scale towards Children’s Literature” developed by Karagül (2020) and the scores of teachers from the scale were analyzed in terms of the variables of age, gender, educational status and length of service. The scale was delivered to preschool teachers by transferring to digital media and using social media tools during the pandemic process. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS program. When the results obtained from Mann Withney U and Kruskal Wallis tests were examined, it was found that preschool teachers had high attitudes towards children’s literature. It was concluded that the variables of length of service and level of education affected their attitudes positively.
