Purpose: This study aims to the diagnostic and prognostic assessment of lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP) and soluble urocinase plasminogenic activator receptor (suPAR) in dogs with parvoviral enteritis. The animal material of this study formed a group of 20 dogs diagnosed with parvoviral enteritis with the help of a quick test kit that showed the symptoms of blood-shed in different races and gender between 1-6 months of age. It formed a control group of 10 dogs that were brought to the clinic for control purposes and identified as healthy as a result of physical examinations. All of the dogs in the study were taken blood samples from Vena cephalica antebrachi. The total number of blood cells was calculated. Serum biochemical analyses were made from serum samples. Results: Serum samples were stored at -20°C until biochemical measurements were made. In hematological findings, the total number of leukocytes in the patient group, the number of erythrosites, the number of hemoglobin and the hematocrit percentage were statistically significantly low compared to the control group (p<0,05). The concentrations of creatine (p=0,040), urine (p=0,036), total bilirubin (p=0,011), seruloplasmine (p=0,008), haptoglobin (p<0,001) and LBP (p=0,011) were statistically significantly high according to the control group, while the concentrations of albumine (p=0,005) and waterPAR (p=0,012) were low. Recommendation: As a result, seruloplasmine, haptoglobin, LBP and suPAR in dogs with parvoviral enteritis were found important in diagnostic and prognostic.
