Detection of drones in areas where the airspaces are important has become a difficult topic. The uncontrolled flights and conversations of these vehicles also cause various security problems in unwanted areas. In this study, a evolutionary nerve network (ESA) model was proposed to be able to effectively classify drones by separating them from birds. The recommended model is designed using the spatial pyramid swimming structure (MPH) with the pre-trained AlexNet. Thus, the combination of local properties from the evolutionary layers of the network has enabled the network to learn the object characteristics in a more comprehensive way and enhanced the classification performance of the recommended model. Furthermore, the number of samples has been increased by applying the non-online data enhancement technique in the training images. The performance of the recommended method is compared to the frequently used pre-trained ESA architectures such as AlexNet, ShuffleNet, GoogLeNet and DarkNet. In the conducted experimental studies, the accuracy, accuracy, sensitivity, peculiarity and F1 scores of the recommended method were achieved at 98.89, 97.83, 100%, 97.78 and 98.90 per cent respectively. When all the results obtained in the study are examined, it shows that the recommended method can highly classify success by separating drone images of different environments from birds.
