Abstract:

This study aims to translate the six-material short form of the Kutcher Adolescent Depression Scale (KEDO) into Turkish and to study its psychometric characteristics. The size is between 12 and 17 years old (ort. = 14,80, s = 1,61) 981 girls (50,8) and 950 men (49,2) have completed a total of 1931 adolescents. In the study of substances, the classical and modern test theory was used, the differentiability and difficulty values of substances were calculated. For the scale whole throughout the group, the Cronbach Alfa internal consistency ratio is 0.82, the Spearman-Brown and Guttman ratio is 0.83. The scale, the scale-related validity study of the scale with the Center for Epidemiological Studies for Children with the Depression Scale of 0.69, with the Depression Scale for Children with 0. It was determined that the long form of 67 and 11 matters showed correlation rates at 0.94 levels with the Kutcher Adolescent Depression Scale. According to the verifying factor analysis results, the scale has been shown to be well compatible with the one-dimensional factor structure. As a result, the findings indicate that the Turkish six-material short form Kutcher Adolescent Depression Measurement can be used for scan purposes as a valid and reliable measurement tool in the Turkish sample.
