The objective of the present research was to determine the impact of engaging physical activity and sports participation on well-being of students at universities of Pakistan. The study had purely quantitative approach. The population of the study were all physical education students studying at universities of Pakistan. The sample size comprised of 240 randomly selected students. Adapted instrument was employed to collect the data. The collected data was evaluated through descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that engagement in physical activity and sports participation had significant relationships with well-being of university students. The results of multiple regression indicated that physical activity engagement and sports participation significantly regressed the outcome variable (students’ well-being). It was concluded that students who participate in sports and physical activities exhibited optimistic character in their social and practical fields of life due to their positive constructed behavior through well-being. The implication of the present research revealed that director sports, sport coaches, physical education teachers, and administrators should pay attention on the well-being of students for the betterment of the university environment and society as well.
